6/20/2012I am still living at a hotel right now until I find an apartment. While the company does cover this, the problem is that I also am house hunting/apartment hunting and trying to adjust to new job. I have not stopped working on the kiribans, I'm just currently working on the Plague Doctor plushie first, because well, it doesn't involve paints and won't get all over the carpet.
I will get the bottles done. I just need time and there's a lot going on right now.

I decided to leave ArtCrossing today.
I joined the group originally because it offered some interesting ideas and some fun requests.
It became problematic when I had to move out and when I started experimenting more with different media. I joined it to experiment with things, but when I experiment with things, I hate turning out anything half-baked....and it takes me time to do something new well. I'm not a friggin sweat shop. =P
I received notes and notes and even though I had explained items were in progress, and I wasn't entirely sure when I could finish it (how was I supposed to know it'd take 12 bottles before the 13th was passable

Getting back has been hectic. Working on list of stuff, and checking to see where mail is at. Will get to the kiribans as soon as I can. Still trying to figure out some things, but glad to be back, thank you all for your patience.

First off, I have to say that I love your gallery. You're bottle paintings are beautiful and I love how you got creative and used a dental pick. I'm surprised more people don't think of this as they remind me of the spade like knives people use or some canvas paintings. I look forward to seeing what other works you create in the future.

Lol, those bottles are amazing to be sure! I used to collect glass bottles as a teen but had to get rid of them when I ran out of room. So I can certainly appreciate a good bottle.
